If Barron was riding high fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Ashland on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Bears took a 17-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spooner Rails on Tuesday. Even though they lost, the Golden Bears' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Addie Kroeze was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madalyn Kallsen, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
