After a string of four wins, The Trinity Trojans''s good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Bell by a score of 24-21. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Trinity came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Bell is ranked 205th).
It was another big night for Maddox Olatunde, who rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 151 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Trinity will face off against Timber Creek at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Timber Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Trinity likes a good challenge. Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
