It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Loveland Red Wolves can now relate to. They had to suffer through a rough 57-7 loss at the hands of Mesa Ridge. Loveland was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-7.
It was another big night for Isaiah Jones, who rushed for 162 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. Jones hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevon Salas, who rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry.
Loveland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Mesa Ridge, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Loveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mesa Ridge also has no future games currently scheduled.
