The Bingham Miners will be playing in front of their home fans against the Corner Canyon Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bingham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
Bingham entered their tilt with Herriman with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Bingham came out on top against Herriman by a score of 49-42.
Bingham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brianna Badonie, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Addy Horsley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Corner Canyon faced Mountain Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Corner Canyon fell 59-51 to Mountain Ridge on Tuesday. It was the first time this season that Corner Canyon let down their fans at home.
Bingham's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Corner Canyon, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.
Bingham came up short against Corner Canyon in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 63-59. Can Bingham avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
