Everything went their way against the Tharptown Wildcats as the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Leigha Carder was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
