The win was the fifth in a row for Central, bringing their record up to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.4 points on average over those games. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Coming up, Central will challenge Fairhope at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 922 yards in their previous games. Hoover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
