With a playoff win on the line, Central rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Hoover Buccaneers 34-10. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won nine games by 23 points or more so far this season.

Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayshaun Woodhouse, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Woodhouse showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards. Bobby Coleman was another key player, having thrown for 326 yards and two touchdowns.

Central pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.3 points on average over those games. As for Hoover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 34-15 win against Fairhope on the 14th. Hoover does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
