Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Academy Beats Reading for Their Fourth Straight Win

Hillsdale Academy waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Reading Rangers with a sharp 56-30 victory. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Reading lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Drew Elder, who posted eight points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Wright, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.

Hillsdale Academy's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Reading, their loss dropped their record down to 4-20.

Hillsdale Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-32 defeat against Concord on the 28th. Reading does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
