It was a good run, but Field unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the Hoover Vikings.

Field's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Field will host Salem at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Quakers at the right time seeing as the Quakers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Hoover, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Avon at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2.4, the Eagles 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
