California School for the Deaf's loss came despite strong showings from Aiden Shupe and Jaden Dingel. Shupe rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns, while Dingel gained 102 total yards and two touchdowns.
Wesley Way was on fire for South Fork: he rushed for 120 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. Way was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. Shevy Bero-Vanmeter was another major influence, as he rushed for 24 yards and ran in a TD.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to South Fork's defense and their four sacks. Leading the way was Boden Bero-Vanmeter and his two sacks.
California School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for South Fork, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6.
California School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Fork will head out on the road to face off against Stuart Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
