They didn't even let Faith Christian onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. This was payback for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Dereck Torres Velez, who's now up to seven this season.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy pushed their record up to 6-12 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Faith Christian, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-2 record this season.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy will head out on the road to square off against Davenport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
