Amber-Pocasset has won four straight games at home, while Navajo has won four straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Panthers will host the Indians at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Amber-Pocasset 2.4, Navajo 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, Amber-Pocasset was able to grind out a solid victory over Dibble, taking the game 9-6.

Briar Anglin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.
Anglin wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Trace Barry, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Barry has posted since back in April of 2024. Kale Jones was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Amber-Pocasset hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dibble struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Navajo got themselves on the board against Snyder on Tuesday, but Snyder never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cyclones with a sharp 17-0 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by eight runs or more this season.
Amber-Pocasset has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Navajo, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.
Amber-Pocasset came out on top in a nail-biter against Navajo in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
