The result was nothing new for Clear Creek, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Clear Springs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Clear Lake at home to the tune of 41-10. Given Clear Springs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 138th, while Clear Lake is ranked 433rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Their wins bumped Clear Creek to 6-1 and Clear Springs to 4-4.
