Sleepy Eye had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Wabasso Rabbits on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Cody Schultz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit.
