Southside Christian walked away with a 77-68 win over Faith Christian Academy on Monday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Anders Caleb. Despite the final result, he scored 33 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Caleb has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of EJ Peterson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Southside Christian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. As for Faith Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
