Daviess County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Lane, who scored 20 points. Emme Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Owensboro Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Daviess County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Owensboro Catholic have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Daviess County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.1 rebounds per game.
