The Horizon Science Academy Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Our Lady of the Elms Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Horizon Science Academy is ranked 489th, while Our Lady of the Elms is ranked 510th).
Last Wednesday, Horizon Science Academy had to suffer through a rough 65-12 loss at the hands of Holy Name.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Our Lady of the Elms at home against Lake Ridge Academy on Wednesday as the team secured a 58-21 win.
Our Lady of the Elms' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pilar Hampton, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hampton has scored at least 25% of Our Lady of the Elms' points. Another player making a difference was Palmer Hampton, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Their wins bumped Horizon Science Academy to 1-2 and Holy Name to 3-1.
