Last Wednesday, Horizon Science Academy had to suffer through a rough 65-12 loss at the hands of Holy Name.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Our Lady of the Elms at home against Lake Ridge Academy on Wednesday as the team secured a 58-21 win.
Our Lady of the Elms' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pilar Hampton, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hampton has scored at least 25% of Our Lady of the Elms' points. Another player making a difference was Palmer Hampton, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
Their wins bumped Horizon Science Academy to 1-2 and Holy Name to 3-1.
