The Warsaw Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They strolled past Lawson with points to spare, taking the game 50-36. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Warsaw has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warsaw to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Gemes, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Garrett Ferguson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Lawson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Willoughby, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Phipps, who scored ten points.
Lawson struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Sherwood is coming into the match with eight straight losses at home, meaning Warsaw will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Lawson, they will head out on the road to take on Mid-Buchanan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lawson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Saturday.
