The Phil Campbell Bobcats won the last time they faced the Colbert County Indians, and things went their way on Friday too. Phil Campbell came out on top against Colbert County by a score of 44-34.
Despite the defeat, Colbert County saw an underclassman step up: Joyden Ricks scored 15 points. Ricks continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Amya Carter was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Phil Campbell's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Colbert County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Phil Campbell is on the road again on Saturday and play against Dora at 11:30 a.m. on December 16th. Dora will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Colbert County, they will head out on the road to face off against Haleyville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
