The Prescott Badgers will take on the Agua Fria Owls at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prescott is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season.
Prescott heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Tuesday. They came up short against Gilbert, falling 72-49. The Badgers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.

Prescott's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bella Abt, who went 7-for-12 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals, and Addie Prisciandaro, who posted 16 points. The match was Abt's tenth in a row with at least 17 points.
Even though they lost, Prescott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Agua Fria entered their tilt with Combs on Thursday with six consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with seven. Everything went their way against the Coyotes as they made off with a 44-24 victory. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.
Agua Fria's win came from a few key players Prescott will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Genesis Rios, who had 12 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Yohoney Castanon, who earned ten points and four steals.
Prescott's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points over those games. As for Agua Fria, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Prescott has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 27 boards per game. However, it's not like Agua Fria struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Prescott beat Agua Fria 81-73 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Will Prescott repeat their success, or does Agua Fria have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
