The Seminole Ridge Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 79-50 loss at the hands of Spanish River. Seminole Ridge has not had much luck with Spanish River recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Seminole Ridge still got an impressive performance from Elliot Petit-Frere, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Petit-Frere has scored all season. Jonah Pio was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two blocks.
Seminole Ridge dropped their record down to 3-18 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Spanish River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12.
Seminole Ridge and Jupiter will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Spanish River, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
