Beachwood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Goldi Aschkenasy, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Lexi Jaffe who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Aschkenasy scored a full 50% of Beachwood's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Beachwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bedford, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Beachwood will head out on the road to face off against Cuyahoga Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bedford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
