The Chamblee Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by M.L. King on the road to the tune of 83-43. With that victory, Chamblee brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
It was another big night for Alana Azeta, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brianna Wood, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.
Chamblee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for M.L. King, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Chamblee will head out on the road to face off against Tucker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tucker will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 468th, while Chamblee is ranked 216th). As for M.L. King, they will be playing at home against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Dejah Raine and Janaya Williams.
