The Roosevelt Roughriders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eastern Ramblers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Roosevelt faced Woodson in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Roosevelt fell to Woodson 14-8.
Meanwhile, Eastern narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Ballou 14-12. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eastern.
Eastern's win bumped their season record to 5-2 while Roosevelt's defeat dropped theirs to 0-7.
Everything went Roosevelt's way against Eastern when the teams last played back in October of 2022 as Roosevelt made off with a 34-8 win. Will Roosevelt repeat their success, or does Eastern have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
