They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons on Tuesday, sneaking past  3-2. The Cubs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kimball got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 13-25, 27-25, 19-25,  15-7.
 Kimball got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Claire Maus out in front who  had six  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Maus has posted since back in August.  Raelyn St. Onge also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Kimball's record now sits at 8-19. As for Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-1 record  this season.
