San Jacinto Valley Academy is a perfect 10-0 against California Military Institute since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolves will welcome the Rough Riders at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Jacinto Valley Academy has four straight victories, California Military Institute has 16 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Wednesday, San Jacinto Valley Academy got the win against Nuview Bridge by a conclusive 11-1. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by nine runs or more this season.

Avilika Arana was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Priscilla Bidriezca was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Meeya Abaoag, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
San Jacinto Valley Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nuview Bridge only posted a batting average of .318.
Meanwhile, California Military Institute lost 19-1 to Temecula Prep on Wednesday.
San Jacinto Valley Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for California Military Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. San Jacinto Valley Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like California Military Institute struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
