The Leto Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their eighth straight  loss. They were dealt a  70-23 loss at the hands of Hillsborough. Leto has struggled against Hillsborough recently, as their  match on Wednesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
  Lizbeth Rivera was Leto's leading scorer, having posted 11 points.  
 Sanaai Taylor held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. 
 Hillsborough's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Deana Epps, who  scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was  Ellayna Stephens, who  scored 21 points.
 Leto has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost ten of their last 11 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Hillsborough, their win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-7.
 Leto will  challenge Hillsborough at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Hillsborough focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up eight on Wednesday. As for they, they will look to defend their home court  against Leto at 6:30  p.m. Leto will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 522nd, while Hillsborough is ranked 172nd).
