In the highly-competitive world of Southeastern Conference recruiting, sometimes "good" just isn't good enough.
Tennessee and Georgia each landed four Top 100 players, enough to push most teams into the Top 25 and certainly near the top of their own conference ranking.
The Vols finished with the 11th best recruiting class in the nation last year, while the Bulldogs checked in at No. 18.
Yet neither Tennessee nor Georgia finished in the upper third in the SEC alone.
For a team to be successful in the SEC over the long haul, stellar recruiting is a necessity.
Here's a look at how the SEC recruiting scene is shaping up for the 2010 season as teams in perhaps the country's most prestigious conference assemble their building blocks for the future.
