Dunkerton have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Tripoli at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Dunkerton came into their this week averaging 36.71 points per game, but Dunkerton fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were dealt a punishing 8-51 loss at the hands of Janesville. The state rankings had actually given Dunkerton a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Tripoli, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Northwood-Kensett last Friday, falling 0-49.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
