Marquette is 10-0 against Dwight since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Marquette Crusaders will head out on the road to challenge the Dwight Trojans at 7:00 p.m.
Marquette pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-59 to Yorkville Christian. Marquette has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Dwight strolled past Gardner-South Wilmington with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 48-33.
Marquette's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Dwight, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season.
Marquette was able to grind out a solid win over Dwight in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 59-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marquette since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
