There's no place like home for The Bluffton Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down May River 21-6 on Friday. For Bluffton, this counts as revenge for the 14-7 defeat May River walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Bluffton had a senior duo take command as Owen Bayes threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns and Brandon Bryant picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Bluffton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for May River, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluffton will face off against Colleton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for May River, they will head out on the road to face off against Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilton Head Island is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
