The Fultondale Wildcats lost against the Dora Bulldogs back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Fultondale had to suffer through a rough 63-31 loss at the hands of Dora. Fultondale has not had much luck with Dora recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Dora's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella Reese led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Reese has scored at least 25% of Dora's points. Ja'laya Harris was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Fultondale has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Dora, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fultondale will take on Altamont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dora, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Carbon Hill at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Carbon Hill is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
