The North Miami Warriors lost against the Madison-Grant Argylls back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North Miami took a serious blow against Madison-Grant, falling 43-14. North Miami was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-0.
North Miami's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Hartley Hoover, who rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 54 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
North Miami's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-1 Peru and 8-4 Maconaquah (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 64.1% over those games). As for Madison-Grant, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
North Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madison-Grant will be playing at home against Adams Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Adams Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
