Portland proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Station Camp Bison 11-10. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Portland pushed their record up to 8-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Station Camp, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Portland will square off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Station Camp, they will challenge Beech at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
