The Valley Vikings posted their biggest victory yet this season on Saturday. They blew past Cottonwood Classical Prep, posting a 56-14 victory on the road. The victory was nothing new for Valley as they're now sitting on three straight.
Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giana Roybal, who scored 17 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Richardson, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and six steals.
Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
Valley will head out on the road to challenge Albuquerque Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, they will stay at home for another game and welcome To'hajiilee at 4:30 p.m. on January 22nd. To'hajiilee is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
