The Northeast Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Neodesha Blue Streaks on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Northeast is ranked 315th, while Neodesha is ranked 307th).
Last Tuesday, Northeast came up short against Marmaton Valley and fell 62-54. Northeast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Neodesha also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Humboldt by a score of 50-40.
Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Neodesha, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Northeast was able to grind out a solid win over Neodesha in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 53-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northeast since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
