Meanwhile, Camden pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 70-55 fall against Proctor. Camden was down 57-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Vernon-Verona-Sherrill dropped their record down to 5-14 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Camden, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.
Vernon-Verona-Sherrill came up short against Camden when the teams last played back in January, falling 59-51. Can Vernon-Verona-Sherrill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
