Hawkinsville took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 56-6 victory over Dooly County. With Hawkinsville ahead 36-2 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Hawkinsville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makayla Edwards, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Edwards has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karia Nelson, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Hawkinsville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Dooly County, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
