It was a good run, but the Lindale Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rains. Lindale has struggled against Rains recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Jasey Campbell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rains, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Campbell hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Robertson, who scored ten points.
Lindale's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Rains, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Lindale will square off against Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rains, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Prairiland at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairiland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 714th, while Rains is ranked 43rd).
