Miami-Yoder is 0-5 against the Bulldogs since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Miami-Yoder Buffaloes will head out on the road to square off against the Calhan Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Miami-Yoder's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
Miami-Yoder struggled with offensive rebounds on Tuesday (the Bobcats had 14 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Miami-Yoder fell 35-24 to the Bobcats. Miami-Yoder has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Carley Bringhurst, who scored eight points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Calhan scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Twin Peaks Charter Academy 62-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Calhan.
Miami-Yoder has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Calhan, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-9.
Miami-Yoder came up short against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 38-33. Can Miami-Yoder avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
