After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Collins Hill, Parkview was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They breezed past the Berkmar Patriots to the tune of  61-14. With the Panthers ahead  27-7 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
Parkview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Zandon Mullins led the charge by rushing for 99 yards and two  TDs on only ten carries.  Brant Williams was in the mix  too, providing the Panthers with two scores.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Parkview, adding 19 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Kevin Caldwell, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from  Mykalen Minor.
The  win  got Parkview back to even at 2-2. As for Berkmar,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkview will challenge North Gwinnett at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 12.2  points per game  this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Berkmar, they will square off against Brookwood at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
