Greenville entered their tilt with Carson City-Crystal on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp  20-3 win. While the Yellow Jackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Emily Rice made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Alexa Hyler was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, seven  RBI,  and three  runs. That  home run was  her first of the season.  Aubrie Uebele was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple.
 Greenville  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  every time they've taken the field this season.
Greenville's record is now 6-1. As for Carson City-Crystal, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
Greenville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair will be back at it again later today.
