The Platteview Trojans were the 73-62 winner over Elkhorn North when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Platteview fell 52-43 to Elkhorn North on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Platteview still got an impressive performance from Elijah Steele, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds. Jaxon Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Platteview's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Elkhorn North, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Platteview will be playing at home against York at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elkhorn North, they will head out on the road to face off against Gross Catholic on Tuesday.
