The Seagoville Dragons posted their closest victory yet this season on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-34 victory over Samuell. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Seagoville.
Travion Hall was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with nine rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Adrian Valdez-Mata, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Seagoville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Samuell, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
Seagoville will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Mesquite at 7:30 p.m. North Mesquite is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Samuell, they will square off against Conrad at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Conrad will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 916th, while Samuell is ranked 427th).
