Several Crusader players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Thad Shuler, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten rebounds. Shuler is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zechariah Griffith, who posted seven points and six rebounds.
Oaks can attribute much of their success to Mike Carter, who earned 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Shabo, who scored ten points.
Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Oaks, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.
Coming up, Grace Christian will square off against The Rock Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oaks, they will take on Springwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
