The Carolina Forest Panthers lost against the High Point Christian Academy Cougars back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Carolina Forest was outmatched by High Point Christian Academy at home and fell 76-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Carolina Forest has scored all season.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zech Gardner, who scored 11 points. Daniel Allen was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Carolina Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for High Point Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
Carolina Forest and Hoggard will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Hoggard is ranked 147th in North Carolina, while Carolina Forest is ranked 147th in South Carolina).
