The Hurricane Tigers will square off against the Cedar Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hurricane is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Hurricane came up short against Desert Hills and fell 3-1. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Thunder 25-20 in the first set.
Hurricane started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.
Meanwhile, Cedar also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Snow Canyon by a score of 3-1. The Reds have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cedar couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Snow Canyon a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 18-25, 25-22, 32-30.
Hurricane's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cedar, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
