Hauser's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Buck, who shot 85% from the field to rack up 22 points and eight boards. Buck is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last six games he's played. Gavin Keller was another key player, going 6-for-9 en route to 17 points.
Orleans' victory bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Hauser, they moved to 24-4 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.
Orleans has already played their next game, a 50-47 win against Clay City on the 22nd. As for Hauser, they will square off against Parke Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Parke Heritage will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Hauser surely won't give up without a fight.
