On Friday Okoboji take on Sheldon at 7:00 PM. Okoboji aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Okoboji ultimately got the result it was hoping for on Monday. They came out on top against Spirit Lake by a score of 49-42. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Okoboji's flat performance the matchup before.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Sheldon lost to Rock Valley/Boyden-Hull, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-48. Sheldon were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Okoboji's win lifted them to 3-5 while Sheldon's defeat dropped them down to 4-3. We'll find out if Okoboji can add another positive mark to their record or if Sheldon can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Okoboji's step.
