Pullman hasn't had much luck against Deer Park recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Greyhounds are taking a road trip to challenge the Stags at 4:00 p.m. Pullman has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Pullman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 15-12 win over West Valley. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Cromie, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those five runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cori Stewart, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs.
Pullman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Deer Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Clarkston with a sharp 6-0 victory on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Stags, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Hailey Thompson made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Deer Park got a big performance out of Sammy Fausti, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs. Caitlyn Watson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.
Pullman has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Deer Park, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pullman hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .390. However, it's not like Deer Park struggles in that department as they've averaged .464. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pullman skirted past Deer Park 10-9 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
